Windows server 2003 event id 1505

Come for the solution, stay for everything else. Welcome to our community! Hi all. I am really hoping someone can help me with this issue. I have tried to put in as much info as I can, so please be patient with the below. I have been banging my head against the wall for the last 4 days regarding this - so I really need help solving the issue.

More or less someone to help me connect the dots to really figure out what the heck is going on here. First, let me state that I have had no problems at all for over two years and this just started happening last week. The server is a domain controller, with exchange most recent SP. I have combed through google and made serval changes as suggested by microsoft and others, but cant seem to get this fixed. What is going on is when a user attempts to log into my domain controller via RDP they are recieving the infamous : Windows cannot load the users profile, but has logged you on with the default profile for the system.

Which results in event id Windows was unable to load the registry. This is often caused by insufficient memory or insufficient security rights. And still no luck. I have created a new user to test and see if there is something wrong with the other profiles and got the same results. Unlock 1 Answer and 6 Comments. Andrew Hancock - VMware vExpert.
